Wine With Me = Wine & Wonderful

Are you a wine enthusiast? Would you like to be? Wine With Me at Ambrae House is not just your average wine bar! Sure, we have wine to drink; but, our true goal is to stimulate and enhance your wine tasting and appreciation through education and information. We invite you to join us as we explore the wonderful world of wine! Join old friends and meet new ones while making friendly conversation during our food and wine tastings in an instructional atmosphere where learning is entertaining. From beginner to novice, there is a lot to learn and a lot to taste, and tastings provide the wine enthusiast an opportunity to sample a broad range of wines.

CLASSES:
Wine Appreciation – series of classes covering the basics
Class 1 - What is wine? From the vine to the table.
Class 2 - How to drink/taste wine: Is swirling necessary?
Class 3 – Oh no! Who handed the wine list to me? How to purchase and order wine.
 
WINE EVENTS:
Summertime Sangrias: Blending our own concoctions of wine & seasonal fruit.
 
WINE CLUB:  
Meets 2nd Wednesday monthly at our downtown location from 6 to 8 pm. A leisurely evening spent discussing your favorite topics. Topics may be of any category (books are great too) and submitted by guests for a random drawing selection for the evening. Topics will be posted in advance of the event. Seating is limited to 40. Cost per person is $20.00 and includes wine and appetizers – conversation is free!

Everyone needs a hobby and an outlet for their creative thoughts. For me, it is wine. Wine is a form of art and compels us to explore its history, as well as its trends for the future, as we would with so many other forms of fine art. Think Monet & Picasso! Wine shares common elements with other art forms. It is beautiful, interesting, and thought provoking. It is global, scientific, and a masterpiece showcasing different regions of the world which exemplify the art of winemaking.  Wine has the immense ability to unite people, places, and passions.
